About my recent works

Hello, hello my friends!
It has been a while sice I wrote there a note about my project and things around this. I was a walking mess in a couple of past weeks, so I think it's about time for me to write something new a finally update my blog.
I'm making a lot of mails (as usual) lately and I've changed a bit my whole design, which might be seen in my shop. I'm still making a lot of ephemeral items, but now it's great to have some ideas for the newest design. Here's what was new on Instagram (link on the left side):

All of these were made of odl books. I totally love the concept of each book made for children and it looks awesome onto the envelope.

Here's what I've put for my friend in Seattle as I know she loves cats. She'll find some purrfect kitties just for her inside.
I wanted to write a long time ago about a website called postallove.
It's a very neat website, where I have found some nice stamp stickers.

Now, I had birthday last month and my new, wonderful friend suprised me with a hugee package and inside was some treasures. Don't want to show it by now, but I'll definitely photograph her another beautiful mail. I guess she knows me so well, already!
Here's tomorrow outgoing. I'm kind of proud of them, these designs looks quite pretty onto the orginary envelope.
Here's another book design.
And finally I wanted to write that Katelin from A Love Letter Project  asked me a while ago to design a postcard, so I did that and the final effect of the postcard (above one is not finished yet, obviously) could be seen on her side available to buy ;)

Oh, and there is something new: I have signed up to the Postal Society! How cool is that?!
Ok, that's it for now, take care ya'll

Andsmile studio and her gorgeous giveaway

In the latest week I was participating in a lovely giveaway hosted by andsmile studio. I really loved it, but I didn't think that there is a chance for me to win something of her lovely artworks. At her Etsy shop you can find many interesting pins as much like Benedict Cumberbatch broches! How cool is that? So, I've won somethin from her newest projects.

I was so suprised when I've found a lovely turquoise parcel in my mailbox. All was lovely packed and it made me really happy.

Inside I've found designed postcard and notebook, all made and printed in London. How cool are Royal Mail, ayeee?

The main thing was this lovely brooch - this redbeard is so darn cute. It's all handmade and I was gonna buy some of her artworks, but I had some luck and now I have one safe & sound in my home!

Ain't that fancy?

Anyway, I loved the whole thing. If you are interested of what it looks like from the inside, you can visit my instagram or andsmilestudio's one.  You can find there some of the latest designs.
Love,
Pattie

What's so good in maps? They're old, polish and military

Hello, hello there!
How are you there? I'm good, the last few days were really lazy and my holidays started with making orders done and sending mails to my friends abroad. It's so amazing, but also exhausting. After 20 in a row the same envie, my hands are starting begging me to stop. But then I'm so happy, when I'm done that I keep forgeting about the feeling of tiredness and making more. Lately, I've got more reasons to make things like that for my lovely friends, eg. my grandfather and mum really started to help me with the items needed for an order. I wanted to tell you what you can find in my shop & instagram recently.

My grandfather was in military. He ended when he had been LT and he was a photo-topoghrapher, which (when I was told about it) I found so amazing and great thing! Anyway, he was a soldier as his father and it was during the WWII, so all what he has after his father (and he found that as a really "cool" thing), he gave me yesterday. Now, as a suprise gift I have hundrets of maps of Europe, the whole World and Poland during The WWII and after until the map was quite stabile. We've collected the maps and leave some and the copies I got to increase my own hobby - I'm making now some unique envelopes. Let me tell you something about my newest update in my shop.

I've personalised them and made special and you know what? It felt good. Yesterday's evening, me and my parents were selcting the maps, because it would be a pitty if they're all destroyed that's why I'm having this maps which were as a multiple sheets.  I thought that it would be a bit boring If I sell a "naked" map envelope that's why I had an wanderlust idea with the greatest motto of all: "Not all those who wander are lost". And the idea came very quickly...

Because: what else than Bilbo Baggins with a pipe?!?
Anyway, it looks now like this:

And the Bilbo onto the envelope is painted by me. Well, it's not a masterpiece but I absolutely love the final effect! If you're interested, feel free to visit my shop "snailmail". The icon is on the top right corner of my page.

One more look: for the sweetest mail again from Germany

I absolutely love mails from Germany. It's all about the most wonderful people around there. This lovely one is from Nina in Dresden. It was that sweet that even my cat liked it!

I received this mail as a part of a swap suggested by Nina. The inside was pretty marvelous. There was a pile of handmade envelopes including the one with a map which can be seen above.

Some f the pressed flowers, birdie themes and more envelopes just for me!

I adored everything what Nina has sent me. It was a privelidge to read her words written with a little help from a typewriter.

Oh, and there was some German stamps, which was just superb to receive.

If you are interested in any other her craft ideas, go and check her Pinterest or Instagram page. Or even check her ideas by visiting her blog.  She has a beautiful mind!

One more look: for how gorgeous was mail from Tina Sosna

Quite a long time ago I've gotten a beautiful mail from Tina in Germany. It was such a suprise, because I'm always so spoiled with the people's of Instagram kindness and creativity. Tina have sent me an email with nature tunes and floral - birdal theme. I absolutely loved it as for all of  her works:
The mail started with a birdie envelope, then some handmade goodies made by herself, some tags and labels and this little pile on the bottom is full of cute envelopes with the main theme.

Tina also sent me some seeds, which was so so amazing. Inside the envelope were many lonely pressed flowers straight from Germany.

There was a letter written on a typerwriter, which completely made my day and really ecouraged my mum to buy me my own one.

I love the swaps idea for its way of preparing things. I really like this kind of piles of pretty papers inside.

Finally, there was some printables and cute animals inside the dotted envelope. And pieces of callendars with flowers with German words on it. The whole look of the mail was adorable.
Also, I love the theme. Marvelous idea, don't you think?

She also runs a blog and a shop and all the needed details you can find on her Instagram page.
So, by adding this I'm starting my new (& first) blog segment: One more look, where I'll be adding and showing you the mails that left me speechless before. Just for the record and fun. I hope you all have a nice day and thank you for visiting my blog!
